Jasmine is a licensed acupuncture therapist in the state of North Carolina and is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Upon completion of classical training in Chinese acupuncture and herbal medicine, she received her Master’s degree from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in general psychology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. After completion of her undergraduate degree, she worked as an autism support professional for the Autism Society of North Carolina for four years until she was inspired to pursue higher education in alternative health care beginning in 2017.
Her background in psychology, and work with underserved populations and those with exceptionalities has given her a special affinity for working with conditions involving depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, GI disturbances, autoimmune disorders and chronic pain.
Jasmine believes that balance and harmony are key to good health. She seeks these qualities within the health of her patients as well as her own. She believes that a deeper knowledge and understanding of our bodies’, both in states of balance and imbalance, can connect us to greater states of well-being. She encourages these ideas in treatment sessions through conversation, education, bodywork, mindfulness and reflectiveness to illuminate new paths for positive change.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Jasmine on long walks, listening to music, dancing, doing yoga, cooking, learning something new, spending time in nature, and spending quality time with family and friends.
